Loita Hill's Over View
Loita hills boarders the Great Rift Valley and its inhabitants are the Maasai the areas wild scenery and variety of habitants offer true African experience to the visitor. As well as Elephants and buffalo for which Loiter hills is famous, for you may also encounter less well known species such as Columbus monkeys, impalas, and rarely seen dik dik. These wild animals are not accustomed to vehicles and walking offers a unique opportunity to see the smaller but equally fascinating life of the bush. During our walk in these areas, you will see a wealth of bird life and concentration of game.
Loita Hill's Climbing Treks
DAY 1:
Leave Nairobi in the morning to maasai town-narok for a short break before you proceed to Maji Moto /Dalala campsite. Afternoon hike in the sorrounding hills and bath in the natural hot stream which give the name of this area. Dinner and overnight in a campsite.
DAY 2:
After breakfast trek through the Masai plains where thorns treesand shrubs give shelter to zebras,gazelle,wildbeasts and other animals as wellas bird species can be encountered to Letikunyi campsite. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 3:
Srart your hike via Narosura village in the morning to Ol-Morijo by using the southern trail overlooking Lenkutoto plateu for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4:
Break the camp in the morning and walk through the lost child forest where the elephants,colobus monkey and antelopes can be seen to Entosopia/ Ngutoto for dinner and overnight in the camp.
DAY 5:
After breakfast, walk along the trail which lies at the bottom of two ridges before turning to the left ridge over looking the Great Rift Valley. Descend the Ngurumani escarpment to the village at the bottom of the valley for overnight in a budget hotel or in a campsite. This area might be very hot because of its location at a low attitude.
DAY 6:
Early in the morning, connect a transfer bus to Nairobi via the series of lakes at Magadi where soda ash is extracted to arrive Nairobi in afternoon.

NB: Proper equipments are vital to safe and enjoyable trek.
Sample Food Menu
During our expedition we normally provide enough, fresh and clean food. When it comes to cooking we cook different food at different elevation putting into consideration of the boiling point at different heights so that the food will be well cooked for easier digestion. We also have food supply on the Mountain to make sure that there is enough and fresh food through out the trek.
Considering all that, you need water to avoid dehydration, we will provide you with fresh fruits.
BREAKFAST: Fruit Juice, Fruit, Cereal/Porridge, Eggs bread/French-toast/Plain-toast/Pancakes, Sausages, Margarine, Jam/Honey, Tea/Coffee/Drinking chocolate. Boiled egg, spinach omelet or fried egg with beacon and bread.
SNACKS: Peanuts/Crisps/Popcorn/Cookies.
LUNCH: Sliced Carrot and Cucumber stripes, Avocado slices, Boiled egg, Vegetable/Meat cutlets, Sandwiches (Egg/ Cheese/Tomato/Tuna/Meat/Peanut butter), Fruit. Boiled egg, salami sandwich, cheese, French toast, Macaroni, meat sauce and bread.
DINNER: Soup of the day, Bread, Salad, Rice/Pasta/Potatoes, Chicken/Meat, Mixed Vegetables (Carrot/French -Beans/Cabbage), Lentils, Fruit Salad, Fruit with custard, Tea/Coffee/Milo/Drinking chocolate. Spaghetti with meat sauce or fish with rice, Fried beef with roast potatoes, rice, carrots, cabbage. Roast chicken with vegetable, fried rice, green pepper, carrots.
ON WAY TO THE SUMMIT (midnight snack)
Hot Chocolate, Tea or coffee and biscuits, Glucose, Chocolate bar, orange squash or soup.
NOTE: We are flexible and willing to accept Tourist suggestions on Food menu and equipments information during our trek.
NB: You have the right to bring your food if you see any need to do so. But on our side, the food will be enough and fresh to avoid any side effects.
