7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Bogoria, Baringo, Samburu Camping Safari:
The safari takes you south of Rift Valley to Maasai Mara where the largest concentration of game in Kenya is to be found. Then back north to the remote Bogoria and Baringo for bird watchers and naturalists paradise. Game, Lake Nakuru National Park, Rift Valley, Maasai Mara National and Samburu.
Day 1: Nairobi / Masai mara
We depart Nairobi by Safari bus south to the Masai Mara National Park. A picnic will be served on the way followed by a game drive are due to arrive at the lodge or the camp in the late afternoon or early evening dinner will be served at the lodge or at the camp and you will be able to rest overnight in our modern two persons tents in masai mara.
Day 2: Masai Mara / Full day
We will be able to take an early morning and late afternoon game drive to explore this famous and unique park. As usual, meals will be served at the camp in Masai Mara.
Day 3: Masai Mara / short Nature walk
A morning game drive will be available followed in the afternoon by an optional nature walk. All meals will be provided at the camp in masai mara.
Day 4: Masai mara / Lake Nakuru
A pre-breakfast game drive will be available with breakfast back at the camp or lodge before our safari bus takes us to Nakuru. On the way a picnic lunch will be served. Lake Nakuru is renowned for it’s bird life nor forgetting its most famous flamingoes. In addition small game is in profuse supply. For campers overnight will be spent at a simple but clean hotel with hot showers. The hotel will also serve dinner. Dinner and overnight on a budget hotel.
Day 5: Nakuru / Samburu
The best time of the day for a game drive. We will take our safari bus before breakfast and drive through the Nakuru Park to see not only flamingoes but a wide variety of other birds. Small games are in abundant numbers. After breakfast we will depart served at the camp . Overnight in tents/camps .
Day 6: Samburu full day
An early morning pre-breakfast game drive. The combination of the dawn light and the fresh morning air is complemented by the wide variety of game life available at this time of the day. We will return to the camp or lodge in time for lunch The afternoon game drive offers a no less exciting view of this National Park with the evening sun providing a wonderful back drop to the animals going about their wild .Dinner and overnight at the Samburu camp.
Day 7: Samburu / Mount Kenya / Nairobi
08.00 HRS: After breakfast we will leave by Safari bus for Nanyuki at the base of Mt. Kenya. Here we will take lunch and drop off any clients who will wish to stay behind to climb Mt. Kenya. We will come back to Nairobi late afternoon.
